Cris' Critter of the Week - Tune in every Friday at 11:45AM!
Cris' Animal Friends Critter of the Week for March 23rd:

Ferdinand came to Animal Friends back in September. Our Humane Officer found Ferdinand living as a stray. Shortly after his arrival, we found that his back leg had been injured. Ferdinand was very stressed the first few days he spent here. After we got him patched up, we moved him into our Humane Investigations’ office so he could heal and get away from other cats, who he does not appreciate. He recovered quickly and his winning personality earned him the distinction of our Humane Investigations office mascot!

Ferdinand is a fellow who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to let you know it. He will come up to you for some attention but will let you know when he’s had enough. He takes a little time getting used to his environment and the people around him but once he warms to you, he can be very friendly. He will hide behind our Humane Officer’s computer monitor and jump out at her, looking for a chance to play!

We think he’d do best with an experienced cat owner who is able to read and understand his body language. Ferdinand would love to go home with a patient and caring person who can show him what it's like to finally be loved. If you have a little time and a lot of love to give, come and meet Ferdinand. He is truly a special guy!
