Cris' Animal Friends Critter of the Week for Nov. 22nd:

Katie the Cat

I am a very shy kitty and I need someone who understands me!

Katie came to Animal Friends with her daughter, Tweety, when their owner passed away.

Katie is very shy and hides from new people, but with time and patience, she will learn to trust and love them. Katie is very affectionate with the people she trusts; she used to sleep in bed with her owner every night. When she is comfortable in her environment, she will even indulge in a bit of play.

While she gets along very well with Tweety, Katie also lived with a dominant male cat who bullied her. This made her extremely anxious and we feel that she will be the most comfortable in a home with Tweety and no other pets. Given her shyness and love of peace and quiet, we also think that her new forever home should be one without young children.

Katie will need a very loving and patient owner who will help her thrive. If you think that you could be that person, please come to Animal Friends to meet her!

Come visit her at Animal Friends!
