Cris' Critter of the Week
Tune in every Friday at 11:50 as Cris introduces you to the Animal Friends "Critter of the Week", a pet that is in search of its new, loving, fur-ever home.

Cris' Animal Friends Critter of the Week for July 16th:

Sophia Loren

5 years old

Tortoiseshell

Sophia Loren came to Animal Friends when she was saved by one of our New Year’s Eve Rescues. She’s certainly very glad to have a clean place to live with plenty of food and water, but what would really make her happy would be to find her Forever Home.

She is a very outgoing cat who meows for attention whenever people are near. She practically leaps out of her cage whenever staff or volunteers come to play with her. She loves sitting on laps, being brushed or perhaps chasing a toy across the carpet.

This 5-year-old medium-haired Tortoiseshell is a truly beautiful cat. You have to see this cat to truly appreciate her looks – the fact that she’s named after one of the most beautiful movie stars in the world is no coincidence! Of course she’s just as beautiful on the inside, and she really enjoys the time she gets to leave the cage and visit with staff and volunteers. At her age she is mature enough to have good manners but still young enough to play and have fun.

If you’ll make her yours, she’ll make you hers.
