Hello! My name is Wags. I’m a very beautiful 2-year-old hound dog so if you like hounds I’m your girl! I am really sweet but I am pretty timid right now…I’m not used to all the excitement of a shelter and it makes me a little jumpy. So if I seem shy or a bit skittish, it’s just because I’m still getting used to everything.

I love going for nice long walks and spend time with people. I’m good with other dogs too and would need to go to a home with another dog, because it helps build my confidence and feel more comfortable. Also, even though I'm a hound (and hounds usually chase cats), the staff here thinks I could probably live with cats! If you have a cat, let’s talk about it!

I love when you talk to me and softly stroke my head. It helps calm me down when I feel a bit nervous. At two years old, I’m a very young dog! So we would have lots of time to grow a very special bond. I hope you come meet me. I am looking forward to finding my forever home!
