WISH 99.7 - I WISH at Work With Today's Soft Rock and Yesterday's Favorites on Today's WISH 99.7

Howdy!

Just a note of "thanks" to all of our WISH listeners and their dogs who participated in this years "Mutt Strut" for Animal Friends. This was the second year we held the event Memorial Day weekend...and WOWIE was it a huge success!

This was the biggest turn out we have ever had for the Mutt Strut. Over 440 humans and 550 dogs paraded and strut their stuff Memorial Day weekend. We had dogs of every size, color and furriness on hand and this year it was another picture perfect day! We also tipped our hats to the men and women in the armed forces who keep us safe.

I am happy to report that the event raised $30,000 for the homeless animals at Animal Friends. I thank you and the animals thank you!

Special thanks to all the volunteers and staff at Animal Friends and the WISH promotion army.

And I have to admit, I fell in love at the Mutt Strut, I adopted not one but two of the dogs that were up for adoption at the Mutt Strut. These were the dogs that I walked at the event.....and wow were they awesome, I couldn't resist. Allow me to introduce to you my new "kids" Loopy and Milkdud. Who rescued who? Huh?
