WSHH-FM / WISH 99.7 "The Phrase That Pays" Official Contest Rules

No Purchase Necessary. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. “I WISH @ Work” Contest commences on March 31, 2008 and concludes on May 23, 2008

HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY:

1. There are multiple ways to enter this contest. Participants may enter via US mail by sending in a postcard that includes name, address, home phone number and times that you listen. Select participants can also enter via the telephone. Beginning March 31, 2008 through May 23, 2008, selected businesses in the metropolitan Pittsburgh area will receive telephone calls requesting their consent to be entered in the sweepstakes by agreeing to listen to WSHH 97.7 FM during certain times. Individuals who consent will receive a mailer confirming their entry and their agreement to the Official Rules.

2. Names will be selected randomly. Weekdays (excluding major holidays) randomly selected person(s) will be called during day time hours. Participant is asked “What is your favorite radio station?” Participant must then say the Wish 99.7 FM “I WISH @ Work” Phrase that pays to claim their prize of $1000 The official ‘phrase that pays’ is: “I WISH at work with today’s soft rock and yesterday’s favorites on today’s WISH 99.7.”

3. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. The WSHH 97.7 FM “I WISH @ WORK” Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by WSHH 97.7 FM.

4. This contest is offered only to legal U.S. residents 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Limit one winner per household. Limit one entry per person. Contest is offered only to those who (COMPANY) reside in the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area. Not all businesses in the Pittsburgh counties will be eligible. Employees of Direct Marketing Results, Renda Broadcasting Corporation and its stations, employees of all other Pittsburgh market media companies including radio stations, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, and members of their immediate families or members of the same households of such individuals are ineligible to participate or win. This Contest is not open to WSHH 97.7 FM station employees, and their immediate families, agencies and representatives. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. No groups, clubs, or organizations may participate in this Contest or reproduce or distribute any portion of these rules to their members. Proof of age, identity, and eligibility must be furnished to WSHH 97.7 FM upon request. All entry form information must be complete and accurate. WSHH 97.7 FM will not award a prize to anyone not meeting eligibility requirements at the time of entry. Listeners of WSHH 97.7 FM are eligible to win a station contest only once every 30 days. Winners of a WSHH 97.7 FM major contest (any contest with prizes valued at $600 or more) within the past six months are not eligible. WSHH 97.7 FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if these Contest rules are not followed. By entering, you agree to comply with all applicable law and these Contest rules, and you agree that all decisions by sweepstakes promoters are final and entrants agree to be bound by decisions made by sweepstakes promoters and station management.

5. Military Exemption Clause: In the case of Active Military (United States Armed Forces) employees, who are based in Pennsylvania but do not claim Pennsylvania as their official residence on their Federal/State IRS Tax Forms, are exempt from the Pennsylvania Residency clause. To participate in the Contest, Active Military based in Pennsylvania do not need to be a legal resident of Pennsylvania, however they must be based in Pennsylvania under their US Armed Forces orders with the expectation that they will remain in Pennsylvania for at least 6 more months.

6. Prizes will come in the form of a company check issued approximately 10 – 14 business days after the date you win. WSHH 97.7 FM will notify winners via phone, e-mail or mail when their check is ready for pick up. All prizes must be picked up within 90 days of winning at the WSHH 97.7 FM office located at 900 Parish Street Pittsburgh, PA 15220 during prize pick up hours of Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. To claim prize, winners must provide a valid Pennsylvania State issued driver’s license or state issued ID or military ID (in the case of active service members). WSHH 97.7 FM assumes no liability for prizes. WSHH 97.7 FM assumes no liability for gift certificates for products or services that are no longer available and/or being offered, (as in the case of a restaurant or merchant going out of business after the contest airs on the station). WSHH 97.7 FM will not offer substitute prizes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release. Prizes are non-transferable by winners. Total prizes will not exceed $70,000.

7. WSHH 97.7 FM will not verify receipt of entries. Entries become property of WSHH 97.7 FM and will not be returned. WSHH 97.7 FM is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, damaged, undeliverable or delayed. WSHH 97.7 FM is not responsible for incomplete, incomprehensible, or out-of-service contact information. Entries must be filled out completely. Only one name per entry is permitted. Official entry blanks must be used. Photocopied and mechanically generated entries are void. Entries generated by any automated means are void. Electronic and e-mail entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address at the time of the entry. The authorized account holder is the person to whom the applicable Internet service provider or other organization (such as a business or educational institution) has assigned the e-mail address. WSHH 97.7 FM is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties, or other technical glitches.

8. WSHH 97.7 FM is not responsible for misdirected dialing, incomplete phone calls, allegations of telephone difficulties, busy signals, or phone equipment failure and will not accept collect phone calls. WSHH 97.7 FM is not responsible for errors or technological malfunctions during the Contest. WSHH 97.7 FM is not responsible for any telephone malfunctions or problems affecting a contestant's participation in the contest.

9. Participants are responsible for complying with these Contest Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By entering, participants agree to be bound to these Contest Rules. Any security breach or other attempt by an entrant or other party to tamper with the proper administration of the Contest will disqualify the entrant and may result in civil or criminal action against the entrant or other party and may result in the discontinuation, suspension, or cancellation of the Contest. Winners and entrants agree, except where prohibited by law, to release and discharge, hold harmless and indemnify WSHH 97.7 FM and Direct Marketing Results, their employees, agents and representatives, officers and directors and their immediate families, successors and assigns, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest, from any and all tax liability that may be imposed or associated with receipt or use of the prizes, and from and against any and all claims, actions, proceedings, and liability for any damages, expenses, fees, injury or losses (INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH) sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for, or participating in any Contest-related or prize-related activity. By entering the Contest or by winning, participants grant to WSHH 97.7 FM and Direct Marketing Results (DMR) the right to publicize the participant’s name, photograph, image, likeness, voice, statements, and biographical information for advertising, trade, and promotion purposes without compensation and without opportunity for review, except where prohibited by law. Winners must execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release. WSHH 97.7 FM retains the discretion to make all decisions regarding the interpretation and application of these rules. All decisions of WSHH 97.7 FM are final and discretionary. In the event the selected winner(s) of the prize are/is ineligible or refuse(s) the prize or in the event the prize is forfeited for any other reason, the prize will be forfeited and revert back to WSHH 97.7 FM. The laws of the State of Pennsylvania shall govern this Contest, without regard to Pennsylvania’s choice of law rules. The courts of Pennsylvania shall be the exclusive forum for any dispute relating to these Rules and/or this Contest. All participants and winners agree, by their participation in the Contest, to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of Pennsylvania. For prizes valued at $599 or greater, winner must provide his or her Social Security Number for tax purposes. Prizes may be considered income, and any and all taxes associated with prizes are responsibility of winner. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 (or the equivalent) for any prize valued at $600 or more.

10. REMOVAL FROM LIST: An individual may request that WSHH 97.7 FM and or DMR refrain from sending that individual any other sweepstakes or contest related mailings. To do so, they can contact WSHH 97.7 FM via mail at 900 Parish Street Pittsburgh, PA 15220. An individual can also reverse the removal request by submitting a written request to receive such promotions to the above address.

11. Disclaimer and Force Majeure. WSHH 97.7 Renda Broadcasting Corporation, Direct Marketing Results, their affiliated, parent, and subsidiary companies, their employees, agents and officers, advertising and promotion agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest are not responsible for: (1) problems associated with radio transmission, cable transmission, satellite transmission, phone lines, or cable lines and/or phone or IP numbers that are beyond their control—this includes, but is not limited to: a busy signal, operator interference, cellular interference, Internet congestion, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of a phone call, or cable modem service, or other interruptions or malfunctions or for technical difficulties which may prohibit, prevent, or interfere with the transmission of radio signals to all or limited geographic areas during the playing of the Contest or that may prohibit, prevent, or interfere with the submission of an entry form; failures of or other problems relating to computer hardware, software, the Internet, or similar systems, including but not limited to difficulties relating to contestants’ ISP, DSL, or cable modem access, “worms,” or viruses; (2) typographical errors in any materials relating to the Contest; (4) cancellations, postponements, or delays; (5) Acts of God, war, terrorism, government regulation, disaster, fire, strikes, civil disorder, or other similar causes beyond the control of the WSHH 97.7 FM their affiliated, parent, and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate assigns, making it inadvisable, illegal, impossible, or impractical to continue the Contest or to perform under these WSHH 97.7 FM Renda Broadcasting Corporationof Colorado, Direct Marketing Results make no warranty, guarantee, or representation of any kind concerning any prize, and WSHH 97.7 FM (Renda Broadcasting Corporation, Direct Marketing Results specifically DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, WARRANTY OF FITNESS, AND ANY OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTY.
