We’re so excited to be coming to Baldwin Borough for our very first Project: Clean Up!

Our assignment: The part of the Riverfront bike trail that runs through Baldwin is overgrown and needs help with cleaning brush, pruning trees, and planting flowers to make it beautiful! There is also a small rest station where picnic tables need sanded and repainted. The community of Baldwin needs YOUR help! Please show your community support by volunteering a few hours of your time on Saturday, August 10th. We’ll get things started at 9 am and will provide snacks, drinks, and lunch courtesy of Turkey Hill Dairy, Isaly’s and Smith’s Hot Dogs!

CLICK HERE to register to participate in this terrific community service project. This is a wonderful opportunity to promote volunteerism in your office, your club/organization, or with friends and family. We promise that we’ll make it fun! If you have any pruning sheers or other gardening tools that you can bring with you, it would be much appreciated.

The portion of the Three Rivers Heritage Bike Trail that we are working on is about a half mile from the trail entrance.  Official GPS address is:  261 Haysglen Street, Pittsburgh, PA.  This will bring you right to the trail entrance.  Parking for REGISTERED VOLUNTEERS (see above paragraph) will be available in the back Sandcastlle parking lot.  Or, you can bring your bike to get to the trail location.
