Kennywood is celebrating Oktoberfest season with its 3rd Annual Brews in the Park beer festival. The craft beer festival will feature dozens of brews, tasty treats from Kennywood’s signature stands, delicious local food trucks, live music performances, select Kennywood rides and attractions, and more!
Attendees can arrive at 1 pm for “Before the Brews.” This pre-beer festival event is open exclusively for Brews in the Park ticketholders. For two hours, they can ride some of Kennywood’s most thrilling rides, including the Sky Rocket, Jack Rabbit, Racer, Aero 360, Thunderbolt, Merry Go Round (ride lineup subject to change.)
At 3 pm, the rides are turned off and the taps are turned on. Attendees will enjoy complimentary tastings of over 100 craft beers, including locals, domestics , imports, stouts, IPA’s, ales , and more. Pair any brew with Potato Patch fries for an entirely new one-of-a-kind Kennywood treat. Or visit one of the local food truck vendors. DJ’s and other live entertainment will fill the midway throughout the evening!
Kennywood’s signature foods will be available to snack on during Brews in the Park! Yep, Potato Patch’s fresh cut fries, corn dogs, funnel cakes, cheese steaks and more! Not only that, several food trucks will set up shop within the park, serving up some of Pittsburgh’s favorite portable treats. Food offerings subject to change.
Kings Restaurants and Mitchell’s Fish Market’ at the Waterfront in Homestead have teamed up to provide delicious crab cake sliders! Plus, WISH 99.7 will be on-site with Turkey Hill ice cream that will pair great with some of the beer offerings in the park.
